This Sandwich residence underwent a complete property transformation, addressing both safety concerns and lifestyle goals. The homeowners needed a safer front entrance that had become hazardous in adverse weather, while also wanting to create a usable backyard space for their children. We delivered on both fronts — relocating utilities, clearing wooded areas, constructing retaining walls, and building an entirely new grand entrance featuring Techo-Bloc Sema wall block, granite steps, and Shale Grey Blu 60 pavers.

Grand Front Entrance

The centerpiece is a completely redesigned front entrance featuring Techo-Bloc Sema wall block retaining walls with integrated lighting, granite steps, and a Shale Grey Blu 60 paver walkway. We widened the existing brick walkway to blend naturally with the property's original character.

Expanded Driveway & Cobblestone Apron

To create a more grand arrival experience, we expanded the driveway with complementary brick pavers and installed a large cobblestone apron at the entrance, dramatically enhancing the property's curb appeal.

Backyard Reclamation

We cleared the wooded backyard area and constructed a retaining wall along the property line to create a large, flat usable space. After grading, the yard was seeded, privacy trees planted, and fencing installed to complete the family-friendly backyard.

Utility Infrastructure

The project involved significant utility work including relocating the propane heating system to the property corner (integrated into privacy fencing), trenching for new electrical service from the street, and proper backfilling after all installations were complete.
