Herringbone Brick Patio
The centerpiece of the outdoor area is a sprawling brick patio. We utilized a classic herringbone pattern, providing a durable and visually dynamic surface that anchors the dining and lounging areas.

This Duxbury residence highlights a seamless collaboration between high-end carpentry and expert masonry. In partnership with FrameTechs, Inc., we transformed the area surrounding their custom-installed pergola into a cohesive, functional, and aesthetically striking outdoor living suite. The project focused on a sophisticated blend of natural materials—brick, granite, and fieldstone—to create a space that feels both timeless and perfectly integrated with the home's architecture.

To bridge the transition from the home to the patio, we installed massive, full-length granite steps. These provide a clean, modern edge that complements the white trim of the house while offering a permanent, "built-to-last" feel.
We constructed a low-profile, dry-stack style retaining wall using authentic New England fieldstone. The wall's organic texture and natural hues serve as a beautiful contrast to the precise lines of the brick and granite, while also defining the perimeter of the living space.
Beyond the hardscape, our team finished the environment with strategic privacy plantings and professional hydroseeding to establish a lush, healthy lawn that ties the entire backyard together.
This project features a classic herringbone brick patio, full-length granite steps with thermal finish, and authentic New England fieldstone retaining walls constructed in a dry-stack style. These natural materials were selected for their durability and timeless aesthetic.
The custom white pergola was designed and installed by our partner, FrameTechs, Inc., a high-end carpentry firm. Santucci Landscaping handled all masonry, hardscape construction, and landscape integration.
The full project, including the brick patio, granite steps, fieldstone walls, and landscape finishing, was completed over approximately 6 weeks during the fall of 2024.
